Merriest of Christmases and Happy New Years!
We’re thinking of you as the holiday nears.
What a year it has been, a 100-yard dash.
Just like Sarah’s cookies, it was gone in a flash!

Celebrating with friends as they’ve tied the knot,
with their significant others they hit the jackpot!
In November, we crossed anniversary number two;
that’s 24 months since we first said "I do."

We moved 'cross the country, a KC transition.
A new job for Sarah brought the move to fruition.
In Lenexa, for now, the apartment lifestyle;
on the hunt for a home, with the perfect profile.

Kindergarten no more, Sarah jumped up to 2nd.
In Spring Hill and planning to stay, we do reckon.
Casey, with his trusty nerd goggles on tight,
building digital goodies all day and all night.

Aside from the move, some trips here and there,
from DC to Lyons, and the old Burly Bear.
Sarah to Moab, for red-rock ascension,
Casey to Baltimore, for a sailor’s Convention.

We’re thankful for friends, our family and such.
You’re all in our thoughts, we love you so much!
